Hey everyone. I got some exciting news a few days back, sorry I wasnt able to post this up earlier but I won Ray of Sunshine SC 88/13. You can view the post here http://sunnychallenges.blogspot.com.au/2013/09/ray-of-sunshine-sc-8813.html. I entered the challenge with my washi Christmas tree card, which I have noticed seems to be quite popular at the markets I attend.
Sorry this is a short post. Hopefully I will get more time to blog more later this week.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Wishes for Seize The Birthday Challenge
Well I made these a little while ago. I made the 3D object about a month ago because my friends birthday was September 10. I was in hospital that week and we were supposed to have a lunch the weekend I got discharged, however she is still extremely unwell. I made a matching card to go with it. I really enjoyed making this for my friend Norma. I am hoping that she feels better soon.
I bought the letter 'N' a few months ago. I think I bought it in a gift store in Chadstone. I traced the 'N' onto Gingham garden DSP and then cut it out. I then applied a layer of mod podge, stuck down the DSP and then applied another coat of mod podge. I then cut out the letters with my bigshot using silver glimmer, to add the color I sponged it with daffodil delight and melon mambo with sponge daubers. My fingers ended up quite messy after it.
The card is made using a whisper white base, with matching Gingham garden DSP as the card front. I then stamped the sentiment and numbers with memorable moments stamp set in daffodil delight and melon mambo. I then cut it out with the labels collection framelits with the bigshot.

Freshly Made Sketches #104 & Less is More: Get Well Soon
Another sketch card entry. I have a few friends who haven't been feeling well and I thought that this challenge would be helpful because I find it hard to make get well soon (and sympathy) cards.
I saw the sketch for this card at Freshly Made Sketches I also thought I could combine with Less is More card theme of Get Well Soon.
To create the card I first cut the banner using very vanilla cardstock and used a square punch to create the flag. I then stamped the bandaid from the patterned occasions stamp set (retired) using strawberry slush and cut it out. The sentiment I used is from teeny tiny sentiments and stamped in coastal cabana. The card base is coastal cabana, I then cut a piece of the birthday basics designer series paper. I adhered it to the base with snail tape. The banner is popped up with dimensionals. I decided to add some rhinestones for embellishment. This is my first card using the new 2013-15 in color inks and cardstock, I also used my color coach to help me with color combinations. So please tell me what you think.

Washi Christmas Card Sunny Challenges Entry
Hello everyone, I have decided to start entering into card sketch challenges. This is the first one that I have entered. This fortnight's challenge from Sunny Challenges & Creations http://sunnychallenges.blogspot.com.au/ was to create a card using Stampin' Up!'s Washi tape. Washi tape is everywhere at the moment. It has so many different uses and is really easy to apply it sticks to everything, I just love it. I haven't used the Christmas Washi tape yet so decided to do a Christmas Card. I started by cutting the tree trunk out of chocolate chip cardstock. I then applied the washi tape in strips to create the tree. I then cut out a pot plant shape in olive green cardstock and punched out a small star out of the silver glimmer paper. For the sentiment I used merry christmas from the teeny tiny sentiment set and stamped it in real red ink. Hope you like this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
Stamps: Teeny tiny sentiments
Ink: Real red
